Performing for our community since 1995.

The Carrollton Wind Symphony is an all-volunteer band, sponsored by the City of Carrollton, Tx. Founded as the “Carrollton Community Band” in 1995 by John Zulli and a small group of musicians, we continue to perform regularly in the Carrollton area, presenting a series of four concerts annually. In addition, the ensemble preforms for various City of Carrollton special events, festivals, and conventions by invitation. The Carrollton Wind Symphony is led by Artistic Director Pete Hazzard.

Symphonic swag that hits all the right notes.

Introducing… a new logo, for a new season.

Percussionist, and Social Media Chair for CWS, Amanda Vetter, created our logo with this as her guiding light:

As the Carrollton Wind Symphony enters a new chapter, we find meaning in the symbols that quietly echo our journey.

The segno invites us to return; to reflect on our roots, our values, & our shared purpose.  The conductor’s baton guides us forward, uniting past & present through music.

Together, they represent the heart of the Carrollton Wind Symphony; honoring the influence of past leadership & continuing the music with grace, continuity, & renewed direction.
